Cramer is pumping LULU right now, likening it to Under Armor and Crocs. This is not just a quick pump. He's devoting an entire segment as he wears a headband and sits on the floor in a faux yoga position. Cramer insists that lululemon athletica is not just a yoga apparel company, but a women's apparel company.
Sounds good to me (the guy who just bought some shares at 38.38 the other day). Now he has LULU's CEO, Bob Meers, on the phone.
"We do not need to be in (big) markets. In fact, we do well in college towns," Meers says. And yet, LULU is about to conquer America, with stores opening in rapid succession.
"They're going to quadruple their number of stores," Cramer squeaks. The CEO is rather deadpan and low-key, not a rah-rah guy. Fine with me. I just hope they reel in Mike Myers as Austin Powers and get him and his posse of babes to do the first lululemon TV commercial.
The stock was at 40 (after hours) even before the segment began, then went to 40.95. TV is a funny thing.

Fast Money e-newsletter: Adami & yoga
The Fast Money e-newsletter is always interesting in one way or another. The show is one of the few that I regularly record, but the newsletter touches on off-camera stuff, too.
Guy Adami, for example, touts the benefits of yoga. Yes. When I saw the headline, I thought it was going to be a summary about lululemon (LULU). Instead, Adami — who has been deadly accurate about the market's fluctuations through the past few months — writes about his morning routine.
TRADING AND YOGA
In these volatile times on Wall Street, it is important to maintain your composure. That's why I find that nothing prepares me better for a busy day of trading than practicing yoga for an hour each morning. Yoga helps me find my center and clears my thoughts. When the market is up one minute and down the next, you can lose a lot of money by being too impetuous. You can't chase the tape; you need to think ahead of it. Of course, you should make adjustments to your portfolio here and there to reflect market realities, but your overall strategy or trading thesis should not be changing day to day. If it does, yoga may be the cure for you. Why? Because by practicing yoga, I get rid of my nervous energy. An hour of yoga in the morning will allow me to keep a level head for the rest of the day. Furthermore, yoga has improved my ability to focus intensely. Be it on a pose or on a trade, intense focus is the key to success.
Maybe Dylan Ratigan will get Adami to do a bit of yoga during the show. Wearing lululemon gear. With Erin Burnett and Melissa Lee doing the downward dog alongside him.

LULU certainly no lemon
The more I read (and write) about lululemon athletica (the Co spells its name lower case), the more I like. It made $149 million last year despite a small market (Canada).
The recent IPO offering gives LULU a chance to broaden its horizons near and far. Having fiscal muscle makes a big difference. The stock traded up to $29.98 today, pulling back from a mid-day high of $31.85. LULU has a cultish quality thanks to its yoga roots and trademarked fabrics like Luon. As yoga grows in popularity across the U.S., lululemon products will succeed. After all, more women than men are into yoga, and women will spend money on quality fashion.
Nothing beats first-person testimony at the gym.
Pupule Paul has no position in LULU.
