XTO Energy Inc.
Thursday, June 3, 2 pm Eastern: 42.35
Friday, June 11, close: 43.77
Gain: +3.35%
Candlestick analysis: "Wait" (American Bulls)
Summary: Really, should XTO be one of the laggards in this rally? Margins have been stellar — 21% profit, 39% operating. Returns positive. Revenues of $8.9 billion! But total cash is a mere $33 million and debt is massive ($10.2 billion). Plus, even with the strong numbers, year-over-year growth was negative. With top execs pulling in $2.82 million to $7.52 million each, it doesn't seem like XTO is making shareholders happy at all.
