Too good to be true, almost, for the bulls. Well, Jack in the Box missed by 8 cents, from what I hear. That's what happens when they remove the Asian chicken salad from the menu. That just didn't make any sense. The stuff is prepacked and one of the few truly healthy items they actually sold.
My mid-day nap has served me well. I see that BIDU rose after hours to a high of 79.13. WOW. The psychology of stock split may never really explain fully how BIDU has managed to go from pre-split 620 or so (Flash Crash Thursday) to a pre-split 791. Worse yet, I've held it overnight before only to falter because my entry point was misguided. Today? It was better. Not technically right, but it was better and turned into a good trade.
I'm not expecting this kind of movement tomorrow in BIDU, but if it's there, there might not be as fluid a vehicle. It had at least six or seven moves today, almost all that were too slippery for my grip. If we're in for many more days like today because of a trillion reasons, I'm all for it.
