Room for big, fat smartphones?

So really, do people want a 4.3-inch screen? I am not in the smartphone universe, so I really have no feel for this, but if people are turned off by Apple's closed system and already like what Google/Droid/Verizon/Motorola have to offer ...

What traction does the Droid X have?

The anticipated phone, which has an 8-megapixel camera and HD videorecording, will sell at Verizon Wireless stores and online beginning July 15. It will cost $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, provided the buyer agrees to a 2-year service agreement. (Buyers will have to pay $299.99 up front, then wait to be mailed the debit card containing their $100 rebate.)

#10 Apple

The imminent doom predicted by Apple naysayers ... just history now.

There is no greater brand in America. Steve Jobs could announce a line of Apple furniture and the Appleholics would gobble it all up. It's manic, cultish and ... cool.

Just a matter of time before the magic of a CrackBerry becomes part of China.

Not cheap here. Worth watching.

Top 25: #12 Apple

Gap up, but decreasing volume yesterday. I'd like to think that AAPL is ready to soar again, but no catalyst is in sight. As the stock bounces, it'll run out of pop well before 200. Maybe well before 140.

Top 25: #13 Research in Motion

Rising volume, gap up ... is RIMM ready to roar again? I am so wary of this stock. Love the company, admire the products, but RIMM takes a pounding from the street like few other stocks. The chance to get shares at the 200-day SMA (85.98) has passed.
