Nintendo finally stepping up?

Nintendo is promising an "unprecedented" supply of Wii consoles for the holiday season in the U.S.

I'll believe it when it happens. Up to now, the Co has reiterated an inability to increase production again and again. Longs like myself could not help but wonder, what the hell? Does Nintendo want to satisfy demand or not? Read the quick summary.
