Golden start to the week?

2:08 am (Hawaii) Metals open in premarket as a sea of green. AGQ, AG, EXK, SIL, GPL — silver plays at the top of my metals list. UCO up 3.8% already due to shaky ground in Libya, Iraq ... nothing on serious volume aside from SLV (+5%), but this remains a flip-flopped market from Thursday's metals destruction. I'm very cautious here, probably too much so, as metals fall from these premarket highs.

Careful on the metals. They can seem so sexy.

Robert Kiyosaki, former silver bug, is into copper and natural gas now.

Update 9:50 am (Hawaii) Market closes in nine minutes. I was a waltz dancer trying to keep up with hip-hop AGQ for much of the day. Finally, on a fourth try, I found a sweet spot. Not the best spot, but sweet enough at 209+. AGQ holding on to gains near the HOD at 214+ now. I also delved into UCO (finally) for the first time a short while ago at 51.40. I missed a chance to enter at 51.18 roughly 30-40 minutes ago. I don't think Obama will permit $5 gas, let alone $4, but at this point, Libya is a mess and the Iraq-Israel scenarios are bullish for crude.

Now I figure out whether to hold these positions overnight or into afterhours trading. A little bittersweet, the rise of Spot Silver (37.90). The coins and bars I want will be so expensive when I check again. Regretting not making a move last week on Scottsdale stackers or their Academy hand-poured.

Update 9:54 am (Hawaii) Oh crap. Scottsdale Stacker (10 oz) is already $419. They didn't wait around. Academy hand-poured is $420.
