Baidu adding more to arsenal

I'm not big on technological advance, though eventualy I tend to be part of the pack that learns to use it.

Baidu is, according to two accounts, part of the advance. China Web 2.0 Review writes that Baidu has begun testing a "voice-based search" tool. This tool is for phone users who don't have access to a computer. Beyond that, I have no idea what it's about other than it's new.

Another blog, Tag Edge, reports that Baidu has launched its own web tracker, Baidu Tongji. This will give Baidu the tools to become a one-stop portal.

Think I'll hang on to my shares in Sina for now, but it's definitely a hmmm moment.

Pupule Paul is slightly long in BIDU and SINA.
