Brew Review: Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale

Samuel Smith: Nut Brown Ale (Great Britain)
Appearance (0 to 4 stars): 4. Truly rich, dark brown. Can't see through it at all.
Aroma: 4. Savor it. Good.
Flavor: 4. Very rich, smooth, not overpowering, a bit sweet. A distant cousin of Guiness, but lighter.
Texture: 4. Just lightly carbonated. Goes down smooth. Can almost 'chew' this brew.
Drinkability: 4. I'm hooked.

Overall score: 20 out of 20. They don't make 'em better than this.
Cost: $5. Worth every penny.
On the label: Brewed at the Old Brewery Tadcaster (N. Yorks, England).

Summary: The bottle itself is understated (brown), and the label is brown, too. No flashy colors or big lettering. This is beer at its finest. I'm finding myself preferring British beers (Bass Ale, now this).
