See, in China, Google is not king, let alone emperor or chairman. That's why, the preposterous act of changing its Chinese name to Guge has been met by resistance ... by a Beijing company named Guge!
It's not a matter of money, according to China Economic Net's website. Pretty intriguing, though, that a major search engine monster like Google didn't know there was already a Guge on planet Earth. So what does Google China do? And why not stick with its globally-recognized original name? China is proving to be a tough place to invade, as many Western companies have learned. Compromise or else.
