Nintendo content with low supply, high demand

In case any Nintendo fans missed this interview of George Harrison, vice-president of marketing, here it is.

Harrison talks to Forbes.com, July 12. This piece goes into more detail than the video interview with Forbes that popped up a couple of days ago.

Best comment from the interview? A comment regarding Nintendo's inability — or reluctance? — to increase production of the Wii.

Harrison: "At our New York City store at Rockefeller Center, we put out 50 to 75 units per day. We open at 9 a.m., but every day people are lined up at 5 a.m. We're sold out by 10 a.m. every day."

Gaming has been such a testosterone-driven industry. The inroads that Nintendo is making among women, among and older demographic, is admittedly appealing. There are so many compelling strengths to the Co's future, I'm not about to let go of my shares, even down $3.

Even with Nintendo's limited production of the Wii, I think I'll have a 50-percent gain by year's end.
